Billet Bateau Corsica Ferries
P & O operate the Cross Channel ferries route from Dover to Calais, Norfolk Line operate from Dover to Dunkirk, whilst LD Line operate from Dover to Boulogne and Dover to Boulogne. The slightly longer routes from Newhaven to Dieppe, operated by Transmanche Ferries and the Portsmouth to Le Havre route operated by LD Line represent great value for those travelling to or from a more western direction.
The most expensive routes are the longer journeys further west operated by Brittany Ferries and Condor. If using these routes, we've found the best value to be had is to combine the crossing with an in-house hotel or holiday site, as these sometimes come with excellent discounts to make up for the cost of the ferry booking.

The Bustling town of Nice in the Cote D' Azur is a wonderful town to visit both from an historical perspective and a cultural one. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived on the short drive from the airport to the town centre as we got our first sight of the magnificent views across the beautiful blue sea.
Old Nice is complimented by a spiders web of narrow old lanes that are made for exploring the many shops and restaurants. In the centre of the old town you will find the Piazza Massena which is a great place to visit to chill out in the sun for a while.
As Italy is only half an hour away from Nice, there are excellent places to buy Pizza and Ravioli and also the local seafood comes highly recommended. Nice also hosts many top museums especially the Matisse museum where a good deal of the artists paintings are shown.
Another great place that we thoroughly enjoyed is the old port, where we were able to watch the ferries embark, that sail to Corsica and you will be 'wowed' by the hugely impressive moored yachts. Also if you're looking for a good nightclub they are in this area.
Obviously one of the most popular areas to visit is the seafront with its pebble beach and palm lined pavements - you can take a relaxing walk and get an intake of fresh sea air. Nice enjoys a good year round climate and there are many direct flights from the UK. So there is really no excuse not to go! I loved it!
