Find Out About Places to See & Visit in Calais France
Calais may be the main crossing point for ferries traveling in the UK to France and takes around 90 min's to cross from Dover by Ferry or 35 min's by euro tunnel, having experienced both forms of transport I much prefer to travel by euro tunnel as the North Sea can get traveling by boat slightly choppy to say the smallest amount of on windy days.
Although Calais is not famous for its beauty that doesn't mean that you can't have a fantastic day out in that French coastal town.
Sites worthy seeing on a visit to Calais France are:
o Calais' town hall (Flemish Buildings)
o Rodin's well-known life-size bronze sculpture
o Parc St-Pierre & showdown museum
o Calais soft sand beach
o Hotel de Ville (Flemish Architecture)
o Famous Cote d'Opale (lovely cliff area)

The Bustling town of Nice inside Cote D' Azur is a wonderful town to visit either from an historical perspective and a cultural one. We felt welcomed when we arrived on the short drive from the airport to the town centre as we got our first sight with the magnificent views across your beautiful blue sea.
Old Nice is complimented by the spiders web of narrow old lanes which were made for exploring the many shops and restaurants.
